A while back, our founder Alex Gilbert was interviewed by Jacob Mass (unrelated to Mass PD) who was trying to better understand just that.

Someone without product development experience can understand what a maker does. Our development process is simple enough to be explained in layman's terms. The tools and machines we use for development can be acquired by anyone. Experience helps, no doubt, but what provides those sparks of ingenuity that can shave off crucial time to launch or even give rise to a whole new line of products? What makes us different?
